Frank was a plumber from Kitsilano. He enlisted at 24 years old and died from severe shrapnel wounds.

James was a mechanic from Calgary. He enlisted in 1915, and was soon discharged due to asthma. He re-enlisted in 1917, and contracted tuberculosis near the end of the war.
